Valkyria Chronicles: Wish Your Smile (戦場のヴァルキュリア- wish your smile Senjō no Valkyria - Wish Your Smile?), serialized by Enterbrain's Comics B's Log magazine, is a manga based around the events of the main game and centering on two new characters.
It was written by Sega and illustrated by Kyuusei Tokitou. It was serialized on November 12, 2008 with 2 volumes released on May 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010.

- Mintz is an orphan who serves in the Gallian militia as an engineer. Being a Darcsen, he has faced constant persecution throughout his life.
- Julius Klotz is a young, distant man who serves in the Gallian militia as a sniper. Having lived a life of nobility prior to the war, he had lost his family and beloved brother amidst the chaos.
