Story

Mission Briefing

This is a mission to take the fortified mountain controlled by the Empire.

Our forces will break through from the front of the fortress while receiving support from the side. Use the combined two forces wisely and eliminate all enemies from the area.

Also, we have reports that pillboxes have been sighted within the fortress, so we are expecting intense inteception fire. Please use the utmost care in your planning.

Strategy

This is a mission to eliminate all enemies. Leon Hardins begins in 1B as a Lancer. Deploy the tank with the constructor module. An assault in 1D to defend the base and a scout in 1C. Put a scout into 3F and Kurt as an assault in 3G.

Mission Banter Leon: Man.. this is a pretty solid defensive setup.

Kurt: Sturdy pillboxes have been set up ahead. Sergeant Hardins, you will need to prioritize the removal of those pillboxes first.

Leon: Roger that, I'm going to need your help on the infantry!

Kurt: Of course.

Leon: Okay! We're taking them down!

Phase 1

1. Move the tank straight ahead to construct the ladder, shell the sniper in the base, then end your turn right in the face of the pillbox.
2. Move Leon to the ladder, fire at the pillbox opposite your tank. Then move up the ladder.
3. Move Leon further. Fire at the opposite pillbox.
4. Move Leon further, destroy the Pillbox closer to you.
5. Move your tank towards the pillbox to the left, go to the constructible and stop there, facing your tank to the camp. Fire your main gun into the pillbox behind you. Face your tank towards the enemy camp.
6. Move Kurt as far as he can go.
7. Move Kurt as far as he can go, taking the center path.
8. Move Kurt again.
9. Take your scout to where Kurt is.

Phase 2

1. Move Leon down the ladder to the north, destroy the Pillbox behind your tank.
2. Fire your main gun into the pillbox from the side doing as much damage as possible, move for the northwest base, stop just outside. Point your barrel into the camp.
3. Use Leon and attack the last pillbox from the side.
4. Destroy the pillbox with Leon.
5. Use the scout from your base to take the north camp.
6. Same action.
7. Move Kurt through the lower path.
8. Move your scout through the upper path.
9. Move your scout again, kill the sniper at the other end and hide where it is standing.

Phase 3

1. Use Kurt to take the camp to your west.
2. Same action.
3. same action.
4. Deploy or use your scout to handle the cleanup.
5. Use your scout in area 1 to take the camp.
6. Shell the ace with your tank if he's there, then move him into the camp. Withdraw your tank.
7. Bring Imca into area 4 east using Open Fire. Take out the two pillboxes and the sniper. Move Imca into the middle of area 4.
8. Bring in a scout into area 4 east and take the northeast base.

Phase 4

1. Move Imca to the last pillbox and take it out from behind.
2. Bring in a fresh scout from area 4 northeast and take the northwest base.
3. Bring in another scout from area 4 northeast and take out the defender of the northwest base.
4. Use one of the scouts to take the base. Withdraw it.
5. Bring your tank into area 5, shell the infantry to the north on the path.
6. Same action.
7. Force withdraw Imca.
8. Bring a scout into area 5 and take the west path. Move as far as you can then take out the sniper.

Phase 4

1. Bring Imca in using Open Fire, move north, destroy both pillboxes.
2. Move your tank, take out any defenders, construct the ladder.
3. Use either the tank or the scout to deal with any remnants.

Mission Complete Leon: It's our victory! We did it!

Aftermath

Leon: We did it! It's our victory!

Kurt: The enemy must have thought we wouldn't dare try anything with such numbers.

Leon: Does your squad always take on such difficult missions?

Kurt: That's what we do.

Gusurg: We are the Nameless, unrecorded in the military, regardless of what hells we brave through.

Riela: What about this time though, if we are not going into the reports, it'd be just Squad 4 here. Would that mean Sergeant Hardins broke through the fortress almost by himself and took it down?

Leon: Mm.. It's against law to lie in the battle reports..

Gusurg: "Due to Sergeant Hardins' exceptional performance on the field..", something like that, perhaps?

Leon: This is difficult.. Seems like I stole all the credit for this one..

Kurt: Don't worry yourself about it. It's true we did succeed only with your help. I should thank you, it was my honor to be able to fight by your side.

Leon: No, thank you. I learnt a lot from you today. I was surrounded by soldiers with iron wills, it was my pleasure.

Leon: I'll never forget today.

Kurt: I won't either. Let's just hope we get another chance to fight together like today.

Leon: Yeah, let's see each other again!

21: I've got no complaints for this one this time!

Imca: Nothing short of complete victory.

Annika: That was super tough...

56: All battles are hard no matter which squad you are in.

Valeria: Yeah, I'm just glad everyone managed to complete the missions without getting hurt.

Giulio: I never expected the squad to be able to get this far.

Riela: I believed in us! I had hoped we would all along!

Alfons: Oh, it'd be great if my lady had more faith in the young ones, it would give us more confidence.

23: This squad is starting to grow with confidence.

Gusurg: I feel that too.

Kurt: It's the results of your efforts.

Kurt: The 422's have this much capability, and I believe we won't stop here.

23: Kurt, you have won my bet with you.

Leila: My name is Leila Peron.. phew, I feel so much better!

Kurt: Your name.. you're sure?

Leila: If we don't get our promised day off, it's going to be HQ's fault! It will be up to me to make sure the Lieutenant Colonel Crowe learns properly and I am going take our reward from him!

Alfons: That's a breath of fresh air. I'm sure our day off is guaranteed.

Gusurg: I would like to hope so.

Riela: Kurt! I'm so excited! This is the first time we're getting any time off!

Kurt: I'm going to take the report to the Lieutenant Colonel and get the procedures done. I hope we weren't happy for nothing.

Story

Mission Briefing

This is a mission to take the fortified mountain controlled by the Empire.

The one-way route leads straight into the enemy camp, but we are limited to using small numbers to defeat the enemy defenses here.

Take the base marked in Area 5.

Also, it is reported that pillboxes have been sighted within the fortress, so we are expecting intense inteception fire. Please use the utmost care in your planning.

Strategy

This is a straightforward deployment. You have 5 spots with no tank capability for now. Bring in Kurt and Riela as they are the best at what they do, Sniper and Scout respectively.

Mission Banter Leon: I'm yours to command. I'm looking forward to it!

Leon: Man.. this is a pretty solid defensive setup.

Leon: Okay! We're taking them down!

Phase 1

1. Activate Direct Command, then use Kurt to pick off any enemies you can see here. Bring with you Riela east all the way.
2. Use Riela and make for the base, killing the assault in the nook.
3. Use Riela and make for the base, destroy the ragnite container next to the enemy.
4. Use Riela to take the base.
5. Bring in an armored tech, brave the pillboxes, if there's a gunner, swipe at him.
6. Use your armored tech, kill the gunner, then take the base.

Phase 2

1. Bring your tank into Area 4 north. Move to the northeast base, shell the defender in the base.
2. Move your tank behind the enemy tank and destroy it, then move it close to the enemy base.
3. Use your tank to destroy the pillbox from behind. Move into the base.
4. Deploy a scout to take the northeast base.
5. Deploy a lancer into area 5 and take out the south pillbox.
6. Destroy the tank with the same lancer. You need to be at the hole left behind by the pillbox.

Phase 3

1. Bring a sniper into area 5 to handle infantry threats.
2. Bring a scout in to take the northwest base.
3. Same action.
4. Take down the north pillbox with a lancer.
5. Same action.
6. Bring in your tank and construct the ladder. Shell the ace.

Phase 4

1. Use your tank to shell the ace.
2. Free action. Use your sniper if you have to.
3. Force withdraw if you have to.
4. Deploy a lancer and use the ladder, take down the pillbox.
5. Clear the central path of enemies using your sniper.
6. Move a scout from the northwest base using the central path to the south base.
7. Take the base.
