Chiara Rocino (キアラ・ロジーノ,Kiara Rojīno?) is an antagonist from Valkyria Chronicles 4. An enforcer of X-0. She and Nikola were brought up together like sisters at the Imperial research institution. She is assigned the duty of eliminating Belgar's enemies. She has a sadistic personality.[1]
She's aggressive, and physically abuses her subordinates without hesitation. She acts obedient to Crymaria, but happily joins Nikola in harassing her. Due to certain "calibrations" done by Belgar, her psyche began to fall apart. She fears being abandoned, and desperation makes her act impulsively. Belgar's final calibrations ultimately shattered her mind.
Biography
Imperial Second Lieutenant, age 20. A member of experimental weapons squad, X-0. She and Nikola were taken in by Belgar at a young age. Though she and Nikola seem like they could be close, she is disgusted by her cold malice. They may be more alike than either one would admit. She battled in the capital against Claude and the others, but self-destructed in the end.

Gameplay
She is unlocked as a non-canon playable member of Squad E when the DLC "The Two Valkyria" is completed. She is a Scout, ranks as a "Special 2LT" and can be made a Leader if the player so desires.

"Mutual Disrespect" will only trigger if Chiara starts her turn within range 100 of Nikola. Just going near her does not seem to be enough.
In spite of the description, Physical Torture actually triggers right before Chiara fires her weapon at an enemy.
Trivia
Her name implies she is from the Europan equivalent of Italy.
In the 10th Anniversary Illustration Book, her name is spelled "Chiara Rosino" in English.
