E.C. is used to denote the number years in the Europan calendar.

This calendar, used across Europa, has its origin in the Valkyrur conquest of the continent. For this reason, it is also known as the Valkyrian calendar. Each year is counted in relation to the year the Darcsen people were subdued and Europa was united as a continent. Years predating the unification are denoted as "BC" or "Before Conquest."

- In the original Japanese edition of the games, the calendar is called the "Conquest Calendar" instead, with years after the conquest denoted in "V.C." ("Vaklyria Conquest"), in contrast to "B.C." ("Before Conquest").
