Batomys class?

Both a Batomys and a Gerbil are rodents, and it is likely a translation issue. For example, in the English versions, the continent is Europa, but in the Japanese version, it's Europe. Batomys was stated to be a modified existing design, but the only common feature it shares with the Echidna is the tracks and approximate size, everything else is different. I've played VC1 where the Batomys referred to Maximillian's many tanks.
